This strongman grip shirt is built for one job – to keep stones, sandbags and logs locked to your body so you can focus on lifting, not fighting slippage. First, it gives you grip and stability where you need it the most: on the chest, shoulders and upper back.

I designed this grip shirt for real strongman events. It uses strong, thick rubber panels across the chest, shoulders and upper back to give you secure contact in every phase of the lift. When you load an Atlas Stone, hug a heavy sandbag, carry a Husafell or clean a log, the shirt helps the implement stay exactly where you put it. Because of this, you stay tighter, lose less position and waste less energy.

On log lift this makes a big difference. The chest grip keeps the log stable in the rack position so you do not lose height or tightness before the press. As a result, you can drive harder overhead instead of chasing the log or letting it roll away from your body.

The back and shoulder grip also help with yoke, giant dumbbell and barbell stability for squats and bench press. In addition, the base is a heavyweight, high-quality cotton blend – comfortable on the skin but tough enough for chalk, tacky and hard contest prep. Finally, this is not a casual gym T-shirt.
