Wear the shorts as a tight base layer directly on the skin so the neoprene can provide full warmth and compression. Use the strongman grip neoprene shorts for stone sessions, sandbag work, deadlifts, squats and event days where you want both hip support and extra hold on your thighs. Put them on before your warm-up and keep them on through the whole lower-body session. After training, rinse or wash the shorts and let them dry completely before the next use.
The shorts are designed to fit snug for best support and grip. If you are between two sizes, I recommend choosing the smaller size for a tighter performance fit.

Superior Strongman Grip Neoprene Shorts are made from 2 mm thick neoprene that gives you steady warmth and compression around the hips, groin, glutes and upper legs. This helps to reduce stiffness, support tired muscles and keep you ready across a full training session or competition day.
On top of that, the shorts have a rubber grip panel on the front of the thighs. This grip helps stones, sandbags and other implements stay in place on your lap or legs instead of sliding away. When you load a stone from lap, hug a sandbag or carry a heavy bag against your thighs, the grip panel gives you extra control and saves energy.
The cut is designed for strongman: tight around the hips and waist with a functional leg length so the shorts do not catch on the bar, stones or sandbags. You can bend, pick from the floor, sprint with a yoke or load stones without your shorts rolling up or dragging against the implement.
An internal non-slip waistband helps the shorts stay in place when you brace and move under load. Reinforced seams and a strong waistband make them durable enough for daily use, while the neoprene still feels comfortable directly on the skin.
